Supporting LGBTQI+ people through the asylum and immigration system
What we do
We provide practical and emotional support for LGBTQI+ people seeking asylum to help improve their confidence and self-esteem and reduce isolation. We provide specialist legal information and advice, and campaign to improve the treatment of people seeking asylum.
We also provide legal advice and information to LGBTQI+ people who want to live in the UK with their partners.
Supporting and advising LGBTQI+ people
We give free and confidential legal advice to LGBTQI+ people seeking asylum. We also provide emotional support to those who are going through the asylum process and help them with accessing housing and health services.
Training for lawyers and charities
We provide training for lawyers, judges, charities and others on a wide range of areas from best practice in handling LGBTQI+ asylum claims to providing support for LGBTQI+ people.
Research and publications
We conduct research and publish reports and resources to ensure LGBTQI+ people are treated fairly and with dignity in the asylum and immigration system.
