As we gear up for Pride Month 2024, why not participate in an exciting Miles4Pride challenge that combines physical activity with raising funds for LGBTQI+ people seeking safety here? Run, walk, or use a wheelchair or other adaptive equipment to cover 50 miles throughout the month of June, all while raising vital funds for LGBTQI+ people going through the asylum and immigration system.
What to do? It’s simple:
- Sign Up: Complete the sign-up form to join the Miles4Pride challenge. We’ll send you simple instructions on how to get started and a fundraising pack with tips and resources to help you complete your challenge successfully.
- Get Moving: From June 1st to June 30th, track your progress as you cover 50 miles through running, walking, or using adaptive equipment. You can complete the challenge at your own pace, whether it’s a few miles each day or longer distances on weekends.
- Fundraise for LGBTQI+ people seeking safety: While you’re working towards your 50 miles goal, you’ll also be raising funds to support LGBTQI+ people seeking asylum and navigating the immigration system. Your contributions will make a difference in their lives!
