UKLGIG has serious concerns as to the standard of asylum decision making in respect of LGBTI claims, particularly regarding those claims processed via the Detained Fast Track (DFT) system. Furthermore, we are seriously concerned about the increased detention of LGBTI people and the bullying, abuse and harassment experienced by LGBTI people in immigration detention centres in the UK.
